Hi! I am Ariel Yu Tsao a Chinese filmmaker from Taiwan raised in Shanghai. My family and I moved to Shanghai when I was 1 year old and 4 months old, I spent my whole life in an international school, and I have always been really into telling stories through visuals and spreading the Chinese culture and my awareness through my hobbies.

I love putting my awareness into stories and putting my experiences into documentaries. I am a high school senior called Idyllwild Arts majoring in Film and digital media and will be graduating in May 2025.
